You Can Visit Your Favorite Animated Movie Stars On A Southern California Vacation

In recent months I’ve had the chance to go to most of the seven major theme parks in So Cal. Between them all, you can immerse yourself in the world of a bunch of your favorite TV and movie characters.

The first place we think of is Disneyland, the hangout for Mickey, Donald and all their buddies. Your trip to Disneyland will be better if you do a little research at one of several great websites. Disney has no-doubt done the most effective job of bringing imaginary characters to life, much to the delight of us all.

Nearby Knott’s Berry Farm has its own crew of lovable characters with Lucy, Snoopy and the Peanuts team at Camp Snoopy. Knott’s has done a nice job of absorbing Charlie Brown, his faithful pet and their friends into their culture.

Your next stop would be Universal Studios Hollywood and the many TV and movie stars such as Betty Boop, the Hulk, Batman and Spiderman, joined most recently by Homer Simpson and his wonderful family. Here is a site that offers what the locals know about visiting the characters who live at Universal Studios.

The third park to visit for characters would be Six Flags Magic Mountain up in Valencia. It’s pretty common knowledge that the Six Flags amusement parks is particularly well known for its roller coasters. As soon as you get inside, you realize that the place is run by the Looney Tunes characters from the Warner Brothers cartoons.

You will find Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and the Roadrunner, some of whom hang out with the guests. To provide additional fun for small children, there is an area set aside for them, with a strong emphasis on the characters (not everybody wants to just hit the roller coasters). It is fun for kids and adults alike to meet these well-behaved celebrities, and you can find them at various spots on the Mountain.
